Re-Visión del Parto Personalizado en Chile

YAPO Project fue invitado a asesorar el diseño editorial y la producción fotográfica de este proyecto de investigación FONIS* sobre la implementación de modelos personalizados de atención de gestación-parto-nacimiento en Chile.
Un proyecto multi-disciplinario liderado por la antropóloga social Michelle Sadler, y diseñado por Francisco Galvez y Rodrigo Ramírez. El material producido se dirige a un público bio-médico e incluye un libro-guía de 152 páginas, 1 afiche de recomendaciones obstétricas recomendadas, y 1 CD con todo el material digitalizado. El proceso de investigación, que duró 2 años (Abril 2007 - Abril 2009), escogió 10 iniciativas en las regiones I, VIII, IX y Metropolitana.
El material esta organizado en 6 capítulos temáticos: Sensiblización, Diagnóstico, Aprendizaje, Evidencia, Interculturalidad, Acompañamiento y recopila estudios profundizados, observación etnográfica, entrevistas individuales y grupales a personal de salud y personas usuarias. El propósito del material espera contribuir a que los equipos de atención de centro de salud y maternidades del país puedan implementar el modelo personalizado de atención del proceso reproductivo.

YAPO Project was invited to advise on the editorial design and photographic production of this FONIS* research project about the implementation of personalized models of gestation and birthing care in Chile.
A multi-disciplinary project led by social anthropologist Michelle Sadler, and designed by Francisco Galvez and Rodrigo Ramirez. The material produced is aimed at a bio-medical audience and includes a 152-page guidebook, 1 poster of recommended obstetric recommendations, and 1 CD with all the digitized material. The research process, which lasted 2 years (April 2007 - April 2009), chose 10 initiatives in regions I, VIII, IX and Metropolitan.
The material is organized in 6 thematic chapters: Sensitization, Diagnosis, Learning, Evidence, Interculturality, Accompaniment and compiles in-depth studies, ethnographic observation, individual and group interviews with health personnel and users. The purpose of the material is to help the country's health center and maternity care teams implement the personalized model of care for the reproductive process.
